A downloadable game

a flock, a shepherd, a turn is a miniature story game for any number of players, designed to maximize for strange flocks, curious shepherds, and big dramatic shifts. 

This might be a fun way to run a quick world- or character-creation session, or simply played standalone.

a flock, a shepherd, a turn was designed and playtested as an experiment in worldbuilding with a single mechanic. It was written during the summer of 2024 for Worlds In Conversation, a class at SFPC taught by Everest Pipkin. Endless thanks to Everest and my brilliant classmates there for all their generous feedback, inspiration, and encouragement.

B-Side: included is a pdf of Games for Generating Instructions, a fluxus-inspired experiment made during the same class.
